Lori Wright teaches drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, jewelry and more at Kansas Wesleyan University, where she has been an associate professor of Art for 15 years. Wright is an interdisciplinary artist who examines human identity and storytelling throughout her work. Working primarily in painting and drawing, she is currently exploring the intricacy and complexity of the human eye and its ability to share insights into one’s personality or emotional well-being. Trained in a multitude of areas, she has participated in more than 100 exhibitions regionally and nationally in the Midwest and on the East Coast. Wright received a BFA in Photography from Emporia State University and an MFA in Drawing from Kansas State University. She is a member of Christians in the Visual Ats, College Art Association and Southern Graphics Print Council.
